I keep hearing from my Christian friends that Rap & Hip Hop music are bad, but it's the kind of music I like. What should I do?

rap and hiphop isn't bad!i like it to! just listen to a christian music band,be yourself and don't let your freinds push you around. hope you choose the right dicision for you!

Great advise! I don't know why people push us around so much when we want to make a stand in our own lives. I guess if we don't push back or try to "force" our belief system on them, then maybe they will begin to respect our views. Could you suggest a few Christian HipHop or Rap bands for others to check out? That would be a huge help! Once Christians learn that there are Christian rap bands out there just as good as mainstream ones, they might make the switch and get away from a message of bad influence found in the lyrics of most of the world's songs. I still listen to non-Christian music. There is some great stuff out there. I have just learned to monitor what I listen to and add in the right balalce of Christian music as well. Keep up the good fight!
